I am very happy to say that I got my first set of Foxy II.Vs from RNT II.

They are a dream the right size, and weight, and they take a tennis ball too.  These are going to be my working cups from now on.

What do you think of the Foxy II.Vs??

I've never held a set of Foxy II.Vs but I think they're beautiful.  Like a cross between a Paul Fox 2 and a Porper/Stanley design.  My only concern with those designs is the top is not recessed very much and I would worry about balls not staying on.  What metal are they Sean?

They are copper and the balls stay on just fine.

I just sold my Foxy II.V's. I liked the cups, but they were a bit too big for my hands. I prefer cups just under a lacrosse ball size (like the Paul Fox cups that don't take a lacrosse ball).

Another reason I didn't like the Foxy II.V's is that I do not want to load from my lap, so tennis balls are WAY to big for my hands. They would flash every time.

You see I load from a pouch. So, i do not have that problem.

I do not have big hands and think the Foxys are just the right size. IMO

I just can't stop playing with them....... Oh the joy of new cups!

They are a bit "Porperish" for me too. Have you seen the new newsletter? They are now offering these as a replacement for their II.V cups.

I must say I am glad to have my Foxys, but I am drooling over the new Princess cups.

Per RNT II they Say

The SBL Princess cups replace the Foxy II.V series of SBL cups & balls.  Properly weighted, balanced and polished make these cups more effecient and balanced handling than their predecessor the Foxy II.V cups.
The cups will easily hold (3) 1 1/8" balls nested on the saddle and very, very deceptively hold a regulation tennis balls as its final load.  The less pronounced top and shoulder gives the illusion of an impossible fit of the load ball, and reduces any excess space inside other than whats needed for the load ball.
Each cup is hand spun from 065 heavy 110 copper, polished and blanced to match each of the other cups in the set, giving you a well balanced set of worker cups.  Add a professional finish polish to the cups and you have not only a balanced set of worker cups, but an eye appealing set you will be pleased to work with.
Each cup weighs in at  approximately 6.8 oz per cup and are within 1/10th of an ounce of each other per set
Ceiling height of cup is 2.5"
Saddle ID 1.5"
Mouth ID 2.5"
The top shoulder bead was made sleightly narrower than the bottom bead for ease of handling and certain moves.  Once you handle them, you'll see why and agree these are just right.

I think they have a hit with this one.

I just bought Matt's Foxy II.5s and I think they are great. They developed a great patina by the way. I have not tried them with a tennis ball but if they do take a tennis ball they are the smallest cups I've ever seen that will take one.

I really like them. Too bad there's no chop cup to go with it.

Well it seems that The SBL Princess cups have come and gone to never return.

I know that I am sorry to see them gone. I had hope to add them to my collection. Who knows Maybe some day I will be able to get a set.

I bought Matt's Foxy II.Vs and really like them a lot. they seem to be the smallest cup that takes a tennis ball that I know of.

Matt had a great patina on those cups. Love 'em.
