I'm seriously thinking of purchasing a set of the Bosco cups made by Harries in Sweden. I've checked them out at the Museum and I really like the traditional styling (I'm leaning towards taller traditional cups now). Does anyone here use these? Any recommendations? How's the weight on the copper models and the aluminium models?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I used to have a set and liked them.  They weren't my favorites but they served their purpose for a short while.  They're very light for their size and I found their center of gravity a bit high.

Levity,
When you get your RNT2 Traditional Cups will you give us a full report and can you post some detailed pictures. I really like the looks of those cups because they are so different to what I have. If you purchase the Bosco Cups I would like your opinion on those. They seem real reasonable price wise.  Will you be removing their protective coating so that they will tarnish?

Thanks,

Thanks, Mark, that's all very helpful. Smiley

Yes, Bruce, I'll post a report on the RNTs traditionals and some pics. I'm really looking forward to those; they should arrive hopefully end of next week, so I might have the weekend to have a really good acquaintance session with them! If I do get the Boscos, I will remove the protective coating...I like the patina to come through. I also posted about the Boscos on the Magic Cafe and there were several people who offered the same advice--to take the coating off.

Pete Biro had a mint set of the Boscos which he just very generously sold to me. I'll report here when I get them and after I've done some misdirection with them. Thanks Pete!  Grin
