Francis... Those are beautiful Cups... I really like the Spalted Beech Wood (whatever wood that is). Tom Fenton will drool all over his keyboard when he sees the Purple Heart Cup.

Thanks,
Bruce

I like the Spalted Beech wood too. Getting a set of cups and balls from it.

Thank you Francis.

Are those The Harlequin Cups from Colin Rose?
I would love a set of those or even just one, even the wand on its own.

Stunning work from a master craftsman.

There is a set of Traditional type cups on the Five of Hearts website that are made from purpleheart, sometime I will own them.

By the way, all these pics of purpleheart cups are not doing my angina any good!
 Wink

Again, thank you for sharing.

Hi Tom,

The cups are using the Harlequin series of segmented wood, but not the design of the cups themselves are not. In the picture, we have a set of cups and balls on the right, and a chop cup + kicker cup on the left. I think the wand is chopped at one end.

I couldn't find the traditional shape cups in Purple Hearts, not sure if they are out of production.

Hope to share more photos with all of you soon.

Hi Francis,

I didn't think I had seen those cups on the website.
They certainly look superb.

Here is a link to the purpleheart cups:

Francis... they do look cool; is the exposed copper treated at all? I bet they would look neat once the copper forms a patina.
