Hi,

I thought these are some interesting cups to share with you.

Do you see an image of a girl in red dancing on the cups in the last photo? Or just my fantasy?

Woo Woo… I see the dancing girl too.

Francis… Those are not your typical Cups that you have there. Are they working Chop Cups? Your collection grows and becomes more diversified each week, thanks for sharing!

Hi Bruce,

They are all Jim Riser's prototypes,  bought the Micro set  and mini cups and balls ( both copper) directly from him and the aluminum cc prototypes from another collector. They are all functional though.

I like prototypes, they are a form evidence that shows the thought process of the maker.

Seeing the proto types is fascinating… in my industry so much is designed with and by computers… sometimes a proto type is made with those 3D printers, that is fascinating too.

Those are some special Cups...

Gareth makes some really beautiful cups.

He makes beautiful furniture too. I understand he makes them for the royal family.

IMHO, Other than Gareth, Five of Hearts, Angelo and Eric Hansen, the other great craftsman in wooden cups is Mark Teufel, just got these from him:

Francis… again another beautiful set of Cups; I have seen so many different types of wood from your collection that I never knew existed.

Work should be slowing down in a week or two… then I can get working on box I promised you.

Thanks,
