HA! Yeah, those are Cellini's. I tried so hard to get a set of your cups about a year ago. I'm an Ebay idiot though and couldn't ever find you on there.
All I've got for street work are a set of used Andy Comic cups and this set of Cellinis.
The Comics work great, but they stick and I get tired of reshaping them. So, I got this next set.
I always liked your Gazzo small tops. I'd probably break down and buy a set if I ever saw them again at a price I could afford.
Funny thing is that I only rarely do the cups while busking. I usually finish with either mentalism or bill from impossible location. Right now I've got a weekly paid gig at an outdoor mall and I'm running 3 different shows for 4 hour shifts.
I'm ending with the cups in one of those shows. The other 2 shows don't need a table at all.
I'm just not a cup worker I guess, cuz when I do hat the audience (whenever I'm not at this paid gig), my other 2 shows always pay out better...I think it's because I'm not stuck behind a table...but who knows.
Maybe it's simply that I'm an idiot. I know the cups pay out...I've seen Bobby Maverick pull in $150 hats time and again with the cups at a closer. I just don't play enough with the effect. My routine is short with no repetition.

The cups really aren't the star in the routine anyway, the balls are.
With all due respect and much love Bill.
The magician is the star. The cups and balls are just there to make him or her look good!

True.
BTW. there are a lot of things that the golden section simply can't apply to.
Balls, for example!

Sometimes, I think that when someone begins obsessing on a single mathematical or artistic principle, the results begin to be somewhat like the person whose only tool is a hammer. To that person, all problems begin to look like nails.
