Mystery Cups???

Can anyone please help identify these Cups and share some information about them? Google has not turned much up. Bill Palmer said that they look like Cups made by Birelli. Possibly German made. I would like to know about their maker and how old the Cups could be. They are made of aluminum and stand about 4” tall and their mouth is about 3” wide.

They were given to me by Dee Pollard, who owned Showplace Magic (SLC, UT) sometime in the mid 1980’s. They were in a box of used magic items from a defunct magic shop from back east (I don’t know who). From what I remember, most of the items in the box were from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.

I would appreciate any information (please see pictures below).

Thanks,
Bruce

I have always wanted to make a display box for these Cups, I just completed this tonight. I kind of cheated and used a box that was pretty much finished to begin with.

I still have not found out anything more about these Cups. Can someone please tell me about them?

Bruce,
Sorry I can't offer any help as to what they are.  If Bill doesn't know I don't stand a chance!  Your box looks fab though.
