I Made a Servante for my Cups and Balls!

I took some fabric that I had lying around and decided to make a Servante for my cups and balls (loads). All I did was sew a large pocket around the three balls and made sure there was enough leeway. Then I attached some Velcro onto it, so that I can detach it whenever I want.
The Servante attached to the case.
When the case is closed
A view from the inside (open case)
The actual Servante.
The Velcro inside the case.

Thanks. I needed an alternative to only pocket loads because of the extra two loads I added.

I could try, but it's not very complicated. I'm sure anyone could figure it out from the picture.

Ayli,
Again good work… I thought I read at TMC that you mentioned that you were having angle problems (spectators seeing your bag). Maybe you could make a larger working surface (that would sit on top of your case) with a skirt to block or camouflage the servante.
Long ago when I made a servante, I sewed a bent coat hanger into the top of the opening; it helped to keep it open and made it easier to get in and out of.
Thanks,
Bruce

Making the surface is a great idea, m/b when I have the time I'll work on it.
And that hanger would solve some problems I have been having, thanks for the idea!

Uriel.
I have another idea for your servente that you might like. I need to draw up the plans and create a PDF (a picture is worth a thousand words). I will let you know soon.
Take care,
Bruce

Uriel,
I apologize for not getting back with you sooner. I wanted to make a working unit but did not have time, so I made a mock-up on my lunch break.
I don’t claim originality for this idea, it seems nothing is new in magic.
I thought if you made a working surface with a skirt long enough to conceal your Servante and attached it so that it hangs or swings, that you could visibly do a set up without your spectators being aware of the bag.
The concept is that the Servente is hidden between the back of the working surface and your body. In the act of placing the surface on the table the Servante hangs behind and is secretly put into place.
I hope that the pictures make sense…

I understand what you are saying Bruce, kinda like the presto pad. But how would that eliminate the angle problem?

My thought was if you made a rigid close up surface and attached a skirt (table cloth?) around it, maybe a foot or so long… you could carry your close-up case in one hand and the close-up stage in the other (close to your body hiding the bag), then set your case down followed by the close-up stage. I hope I am making sense.
Thanks,
Bruce

That's an idea, I'll look into it. I just need some darn time...
