What was your first set of actual cups? Please do not say any cups that are not the same color  Wink (Unless they were RNT2's El Royale cups, which I know they weren't.)

My first set of cups was an aluminum Morissey Combo set. Had it for 15 years and never used any other set. That set went through a lot.  It was painted copper, painted bronze....back to aluminum etc.... It has all the battle scars! These cups won me many competitions. The set was lost...stolen,,,, found so many times it is almost impossible to fathom why and how it comes back to me. The set now resides with my best student in magic. He will pass it on as I have many years from now. It is my wish and it will be done. I still dream about them inspite of my collection.

I hope the new owner becomes a member here and post some pics and share his stories about my set.

Mabuhay from Manila,

Rannie

Here is a vid of my last performance with my set....some years back

Thanks fellas!

Wow! You really know how to use those combo cups. I am simply floored. I like your style of presentation, especially in the rattle box video, but that is irrelevant here. Great job! Wow.

My first set of real Cups was original Rings and Things Aluminum Monti Combos. Back then (the 70’s) I pretty much just did the Mark Wilson routine (straight Cups & Balls); I never really used the chop feature.

I have a set of RNT2 Mendoza Cups waiting in the wings, but I am trying to get the Vernon routine down first.

Yes Rannie’s combo routine is great to watch and entertaining. It ranks as one of my favorites.

Thanks,
Bruce

My first cups were a Uday set of Combo cups in copper. My first set of "real" cups were a set of copper PF cups.

My first set of cups was the Magic Makers Brass Street Cups. Soon I will be getting the new SBL Super Shibby Street Cups from RNT2. It is basically the G2 cups, but they changed the saddle so that the two sets can't be confused. I'm happy! Smiley

Uriel… your PF Cups look so cool, now that RNT2 has changed their price structure they are so tempting to purchase. I have a set of Squatty Cups and just ordered the Foxy 2.5. I need the PFs to kind of complete the family.

Ketchup… SBL Super Shibby Street Cups look great too. I hope you are able to get them sooner then latter.

Good Luck

Thanks Bruce, but I have to give credit to Jake for the Patina.

I just received my set of Foxy II's from Jake, and they are stunning.
