I love the 2.5's too Andre.

I added a video of my Mendoza's to the review page.

Bri,
Nice video.
It's interesting that you found a variation in the center beads that allows you to identify the combo cup by feel. Not all sets will be like this, but if any set is used, sooner or later you discover some small subtle variation in the combo cup that lets you identify it quickly and easily. It's just a matter of really getting to know the cups.

Thanks.  It's a bonus, I really like the fact it is there but it's not noticable to anyone else who has handled the cups...

Hi, GUys

I too have a variation on center bead on 1 of the cup.
Unfortunately that's not the chop cup.

apart from that RNT2 did a very great job.

We just have to keep track of it Smiley

Cheers

Andre… Looking at my set of Mendoza Cups all look and feel identical to each other, not a single variation. The only thing that was bizarre with my set was that they came with two gaffed balls.

Take care,

I wonder if someone else didn't get theirs?

This topic ranks in the top as those that are viewed... is there nothing to add since 2009?

I haven’t used my set for quite a while... I have been using a set of RNT PF Mini Combo Cups; boy going back to the Mendoza Cups has felt weird in comparison... they are so big and heavy. When I originally wrote my review of them, I thought that I would like to keep my set all shiny... I am on a patina kick now and plan to turn my set dark and go with a set of green balls rather than red.

Who out there has purchased a set since this post started? Many years from now, I think the Mendoza Cups will rank up there as a desirable set like the Paul Fox Cups, Charlie Miller Cups, etc. What do you think?
