I just received a new set of Cups& Balls and would like to show how nice they look right out of the box.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?  Thanks.

Jegrenne,
There is a way to insert a picture that I can’t figure out. I cut and paste direct photo links from photobucket.com.

I can’t wait to see your new Cups… congratulations!

Take care,
Bruce

What set is it? Or is that a secret?

BCS, I saw on RnT2 that they're coming out with a second run of Princess Cups! I don't know if they'll ever come out, but they have a lot of information about them, even a price and an "add to cart" button; the only thing that they don't have is a picture.  Angry

Bruce is right, create a free account at photobucket.com (or some place else you can upload and store pictures for free).
To get the picture to display in the post do this:
Photobucket tells you the URL to each picture, copy the URL for the picture you want to post on the page.
Then when posting on the forum, click the icon for Insert Image - this will put two IMG tags in the post (an opening tag and a closing tag). Paste the URL to the picture between the IMG tags .
Do this for each picture you want to post.
Preview the post - the IMG tags will pull your picture from photobucket and display it on the page.
Hope this helps.

Hey Mike,

I don’t know this as fact, but I remember reading that RNT2 was going to put a hold on the Princess Cups and redesign the saddle… now that RNT@ is winding down, I doubt that this will happen. I t would be cool though if it did. In my opinion the Foxy 2.5 were pretty close to the design.

I have just looked at their site and could not find the listing that you wrote of.

Take care,
Bruce

Bruce,

Click on the search tag at RNT II's site.
Type in "Princess"  hit return and you will find them.

Which set should I get out of the Mendoza Combo Cups and the Princess II Cups? I know that you guys are going to tell me that they're for different stuff, and I know that, but which set would you recommend more? I'm leaning toward the Princess II cups. Also, I'm getting set of SBL Super Shibby Street Cups along with a Strolling Chop Cup in copper and a set of Working balls (probably baby blue, I wish they had white.) Any, thanks for listening guys.

I feel like a fool… I can’t find the princess Cups at all on their site; I did try the search function.

Can someone post the direct link?

Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce,

I don't think that the Princess cups are listed anymore.
They were in the 'New Releases' but they aren't there, I used 'search' and nothing showed up.

I think that they must have been removed from the site.

Tom… thanks I was beginning to think that I was nuts… everyone could see them but me. From what I remember the Princess Cups looked like the Foxy 2.5 and Mendoza Cups had offspring. Or maybe the Foxy 2.5 had a fling with the Sherwood Cups (if you know what I mean).

Mike… Others might disagree, but of the Cups left for sale at RNT2 the Mendoza Cups are a lot of bang for the buck at $225 (I paid $450 for mine and thought I got my money’s worth). One could get another set of balls and they would make a hell of a set of standard Cups. I am still happy with the Squatty 2 Cups; they are getting the most of my affections. Other then not holding tennis balls, I can’t find fault with them.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend,
Bruce

The Princess listing is still there, but the pic is gone. I would imagine that since they're closing up shop and these hadn't been released yet that they're probably not going to happen. They're probably busy enough filling backorders that they won't get around to tooling up for yet another product this close to the end of the run.

I too couldn't resist the Mendoza Combo pricing. I have a set on order even though I don't yet have a use for them. Some day though...

Dave, do you have Mendoza's DVD My Best Vol.1? He teaches his routine very well on their, and everything on the DVD is absolute GOLD. If you don't have it yet, I highly recommend you get it.

Wow, look at those Princess Cups! No wonder Brett Sherwood is pissed - they look exactly like his cups.
