I know I have not talked about how things are looking for 2010 in some time. This has been because things have been up in the air lately.

We had to move the Con from 2009 due to a few problems, and I was putting too much pressure on the people that were helping me. That was no ones fault but mine. So, with some great words of advice from a friend I pushed on.

This is how things look right now. We are still looking at 2010. The location is going to be in the Northeast, due to my present location and the need to oversee the setup site. It is still planed for summer (maybe the tail end of July) That is the basic outline right now. It is a lot of work planing a Con. So, it takes a lot of time to do things right, and not over work anyone.

We have felt a loss with CupsCon with the closing of RNT2. They were a big sponsor and the lost of them has left a big hole in things. So, we need new sponsors. If anyone know a way to help with this please contact me.

I do need help with a few things like PR / dealers / Ect... So, if you want to join the team contact me.

Thank you all for the help with bring my dream to life.

Till next time,
Sean

Sound awesome Sean!

I live in NJ, so the closer to me the easier it will be to get there. The summer is also a great time.

I'm still in.  Not sure what kind of help I can be all the way down here in Virginia, but I'll do what I can.  The northeast in July. . . it will be a nice break from our humidity.  Anything less than 90% is wonderful.

Where in the NE??? Well the truth is I am still looking at a few cities with a big airport. That will make it cheaper on the airfare. I am also hoping for train access too.

A lot has to do on the room rates, location, and what kind of space they can give us.

Chop cups?? I don't know yet. I had everything setup with RNT2 for 2009, but we all know they will not be able to help us with 2010.

So, that is still up in the air.

Till next time,
Sean

Awesome! I too am in New York so that'd make things plenty easy on me and veryone else if you decided to do it out here with the amazing public transit system we've got here.

Eddie, doesn't Rochester have an airport too? That could be a possibility, if it's even going to be in NY, or one of the other NE states.

I live in Elizabeth, NJ and we have Newark International Airport (EWR) over here. There are trains and I 'm pretty sure buses as well that run to and from the airport.
