Yesterday, I ordered a set of standard cups from James Riser!!! For years, I've been using an aluminium set from Morrisey. Nothing wrong with them, just time for a very nice set. A little heavier, too. Anyhow, when they arrive, I'll try to get some pix of them.

wow, thats cool.
Several years ago I got a chance to buy a set of mini's from from him but unfortunaly never did. I wish I got a set when I could.

Thanks, Etienne! Of course, I'll post some photos.
By the way, your Squatty cups look great!

Tom,

I look forward to your review on the Riser Cups; I have never seen a set in person. The standard set is on my short list.

Thanks,
Bruce

I can't wait to show everyone. Jim Riser said he would probably have them done by the end of January. That's OK with me. They sure are shiny on his website!

For all my hatred of the center beads on cups, I really like the look of his midi's.

They're here! My set of Riser Standard cups arrived! Talk about excited! Just like a kid.  Grin

They are nice and heavy. Made out of copper. Beautiful shine. Big enough to hold a tennis ball. Inside each cup is stamped "James P Riser." The stamping is very small. It's a nice touch. I really like it. Sort of like a COA.

They handle perfectly. They stack great. The cups hold three 1 1/8" balls between cups.

They don't tip over if I sneeze, or bump them with my sleeve. I'm glad of that.

I'll post some photos after I figure out how to use the camera my daughter gave me for Christmas. I took a few photos, but they are not sharp enough. It's real easy to take blurry photos!

Time to play!
