Probably still the P2s. There's nothing wrong with them, and I think that they might look good in Antique Bronze.

I had a set of risers that i used for a bit and then Gazzo got them and now that set is in the cup and ball  museum . It says used by Gazzo. I was hurt I did not get a mention. I used them too.  They are very nice cups indeed. But please take the wax of and let them get a patina and then wax them.

How am I supposed to know that you used them if you don't tell me?Huh?? Evidently Mike Gold, who is the fellow I got them from, did not know this. I'm not psychic!!! At least I don't think I am. I've had those cups for almost 4 years. You would have figured you might have said something to me about this. I[ll try to fix it when I get back home. I'm ion the road in Nashville, Tennessee! YEE HAW!

About removing the wax, I almost never do ANYTHING to a set of cups once it comes into the museum. They stay as they were actually used.

Some people have been posting about their first "real" set of cups. Mine were a set of copper P&L cups. They were sprayed on the inside with silver paint. I sold them and bought a set of Tannen's Stubby cups becaus the Stubby cups would take a tennis ball.

My first set was plastic. First "real" set was aluminum. My favorite set; my real set, is copper.

Ithink  I will wax my Phoenix cups, I havenever tried it, only with my car but I have  some amazing wax and I havegot the patina I was looking for on my Phoenix cups, sadly wax and patina doesn't create attic space!

Thanks, I like those Risers! Wax can really make a car shine, but possibly all the handling of the cups will make it wear off. So they have to be rewaxed once in a while.
