I have been playing around with different ideas with a "Green" Act, but I have been stuck on a "Green" idea for Cups.

I had a shell game idea, but it is not going to work for cups. I even toyed around with a "Black Art" Cups routine. (Thank you Mad Jake) It just does not seem to be the right fit.

So, I have to toss the hat out to my fellow  Cup Junkies.

Anyone have any good ideas for a green cups routine???

Till next time,
Sean

That is a tough one Sean. Are you actually considering doing a Green routine, or are you just toying around with some ideas? I looked on the Museum for a set that looked like a "Green" set, and I think that your best bet is wood. I found this Milkame set HERE but it might be hard to find. You could always buy on of those cheap sets of Uday wooden cups, and maybe even paint some trees on it, or make it look "green" somehow. For balls you could use things that represented seeds, like fake cherry pits or something, and then end with fruit final loads, or, if you found a cup big enough, you could load small Bonsai tree, or a model wind turbine, or something. Hey, your Chick Cups might come in handy for this, even though the copper doesn't really scream Green.

Just toy around with some ideas, I'm sure something will come to you,

Well i am putting a whole "Green" act together, and just trying to see how I can work in Cups.

One idea was to have water bottles as the final loads, but I am just not sure yet how I should get there.

I don't think I want to use wooden cups. You can recycle cooper. So, I think I will use my Cooper Chick Cups.

once  I have the concept of the routine. it will be easy to find the right moves.

So, if anyone has any ideas. please share.

Water bottles seem like a good idea. Maybe the small, 8 oz ones.

I was thinking of using the small water bottles, or the small soda cans as the final loads.

the thought behind it would be the idea about how some items can be recycled. I am just not to sure how to get there.

I just have not found the right path of the routine. I even thought of doing a shell game with recycling bends (I think i spelled that right) I am not too sure about it yet.

What do you think??

Here's something off the top of my head:

You know, a lot of people use old coffee cans like these to store things in. Now when you finish with the coffee beans you can use them for something else (make the coffee beans vanish) or you can use them to put more beans in (beans come back). Because they're all bright and shiny I'll always be able to see the can and if I were to take something out of it and put it into my pocket, I can always have a place to put it back (comes back). But maybe you're not cofee people? Maybe you'd rather use the cans to store old tools, or nails or screws. (those be the final loads).

Another idea if you just want to do a straight cup routine but with soda can loads is to use aluminum foil balls and talk about how aluminum can be recycled but it has to go through a process. The process can be the cup routine and the final result can be your soda can final loads.

This is a great idea. I will have to see if the balls will talk.

Anyone know how to take the paint off a soda can?

It'd probably be easier to use silver spray paint on them. But I don't see any reason why you can't keep the color. It makes for a more visual final load to add some color. maybe just have the first one be silver. Then opening the can and pouring the contents will be the ultimate convincer. Then crush the can and toss it into one of those recycle garbage bins continuing the circle.

Anyone know how to take the paint off a soda can?

No, but I know how to spray on too much and make it run down the side.

You know, for a "new" green act, you're not going to do much better than the "old" fruit or vegetable final loads.  Imagine a potato, an onion, and an orange as a final display.  Doesn't get much greener than that.

And we've come full circle once again!...  Smiley
