Bruce,
Does Andre have pics up?  I'd love to see them.  I think I will let them Patina and when they are right apply some wax...

I have pics of them as they are right now at http://www.cupsandballsmagic.com/Mendoza-Satin-Combos.html so it will be interesting to see how they go on.

I do have very dry hands though so cups don't tarnish quickly when I practice and i agree it will be nice to keep a record Smiley

Bri

Bri,

The satin finish looks more like Church Bronze finish but browner.
It does looks great

Cheers

Thanks Bruce. It's directly off of the Museum, used with permission from Bill Palmer. I've used if for a while on another site, and finally put it here.

Thanks Mike.  Classy new avatar  Wink

Bruce, I have put up a second review of another cup too.  To answer your question about the balls, I prefer the balls supplied with the first  cup, I have covered this in the review of the second cup.

http://www.cupsandballsmagic.com/Eric-Hansen-Chop-Cups.html

I also have a chopped bowl of Eric's to review and I am getting him to make me a wand also, so aside from all the other reviews I plan to get listed I wont have much "Bri time!"

Bri… I would really like to see pictures of the wand after you receive it. Eric’s work is pretty impressive. How big is the bowl that you had him make? I would like to see what he can do in the way of Indian/Hindu Cups.

Thanks for sharing,
Bruce

Hmmm, hindu cups?? I'm not sure but don't get me started wanting some of those too, I'm already in enough trouble as it is!  Grin

The bowl is, around... I'd say 3" tall and 3.5" in diameter, however it wont accomodate a tennis ball etc due it's bowl like shape....

I'll gladly review thewand when I get it sorted.  I haven't even discussed the finer points / woods etc as yet Smiley

Mike,
I'm sure Eric will appreciate your remarks, I will let him know when I am in contact next.
Tom (Fenton) gave me some great ideas for wand design and woods etc so I will post that when it's done too.
