Etienne… how has working with the large bearing been? Have you done any damage to yourself, furniture or small animals or children?

Take care,

Actually I haven't had any time to play around with my balls. Grin When I handelded them they do feel a bit heavy, maybe to heavy for me. I asked my dad to spin me some aluminum balls that measure around 60 mill. which is about 2.36". These should be alot lighter, I just hope they fit in my Jes cups.

Oh before I forget..... no children nor any kind of animal has suffered due to my fumbling with the steel balls.

Grin Grin I could very easily say something here, but I won't

Grin Grin  Grin Oh, I really could say something, but I won't.

I asked my dad to spin me some aluminum balls that measure around 60 mill. which is about 2.36".

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Grin OH...OH... Must hold back!!!!!

These should be alot lighter, I just hope they fit in my Jes cups.

Grin Grin Grin Grin OH...Come on now, That is just too much.

Oh before I forget..... no children nor any kind of animal has suffered due to my fumbling with the steel balls.

That's it I can hold back no more.

I know my dad gave me Brass Balls, but hell I think you might want you stick to the Steel Balls. The Aluminum ones might not give you the same reaction.

AND...please keep the balls on the table.  Grin Grin Grin

Etienne,

Are the balls your dad is spinning hollow or solid? Two half balls connected somehow? I can't imagine how they are made. I found out how cups are spun on YouTube. That was pretty neat!

I need close up pictures of them when you get a chance.

They should be solid, he has to look for a rod that is 60 mill. in diametre. If he had it lying around he would spin a set for me.
When I receive the balls I will post pics.

I see. It's a solid piece of metal machined into the shape of a ball.
