This was posted on there web site:

Quote
Due to severe failing health, RNT II Magic, Inc. has been placed up for public sale.

Those interested may contact Marcella at marcellajeanz@mac.com  with questions and further details. Sale includes all blueprints, tooling and production rights, IP rights, trademarks.

RNT II will continue manufacturing and selling until at which time the company is sold
.

It looks like the health of one of our beloved cups maker is turning for the worst. It is truly a sad day in the history of the cups and balls.

We he at CupsCon ask you to please put Jake and his familiy in your prayers.

Jake,

Please take the time to improve your health, I know how much you care about your customers but they'll understand that your health is more important than the delivery of magic props (no matter how beautiful they are).

You are one of the greats.

I am proud to call you my friend.

Take care,
Tom

During the last year I wrote an article on magic for a legal publication (of all things!!!) Jake spent hours with me on the phone answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction.  I deeply appreciate his help.

Jake is clearing inventory to raise $.  I noticed today he had items listed on the great auction site beginning with E.  Anyone looking for items that haven't been available for a while might check daily.

Noel,
We're all adults here. You can say the "E" word. Since we're all collectors, or at least peripherally interested in all things cup related, including Jake's health and welfare, I'd say post the eBay links so we can all enjoy what he has to offer.

Here, let me help:

Who knows how the Cafe works...people wishing Jake well..?? He's an advertiser there, too..  Likewise, couldn't find a thing on eBay.

I'm surprised to see no RNT2 listings on Ebay.  The day I originally posted there were 2 listings. A set of  White Beauty's and another set that escapes me. In the body of the listing Jake siad he would be listing random items in the near future, so I thought I'd pass it along. I have no idea what happened. I've thought of calling or emailing, but I've avoided using up Jake's time or energy. I certainly hope no more bad luck has fallen on Jake.

Thank you all again for your support, prayers and well wishes.  I just recovered from a serious lung infection from the recent treatments.

As to ebay, what a bunch of swipes these guys are.  5 years we've been offering mostly engraving services on ebay,  they suspended our account
for fee avoidance because we would not list each shape of a pet tag in individual ads.

Now most know I'm a pissy person, but this really pissed me off and I returned an email letting them know this,  it is quite apparent that the CS Rep did not have a sense of humor when I mentioned a specific act to be performed with another of their family member.  Thus the suspension, but which would have happend because I'm not running listings for each shape that only bring a 35 cent profit per piece after their raping fees.

Noel, if you want the White Beauties, lol, I still have them.

So all in all it looks like we'll be porting the engraving store in full to the RNT II site and I'll just keyword the search engines.

I just talked to Jake yesterday. He is doing well but not up to full speed but better then  he has been in the past month. The chemo takes a lot out of him. That plus the meds you have one mad clown that is not running much at all.

I know with my RSD I take alot of pain killers and they can make me forget things really fast. It is like changing the channel things are just gone. I can only imagine what he is going though.

He was in good sprites when we talked for a while about some new things he has in the works. I can not go in to that but I will say this. Start saving your money you are going to need it for the jewels he is going to be coming out with real soon.

Well I wanted everyone to know how he is doing and to please keep him in yourr prayers. He is really a someone that gives his heart and soul to his craft, to the art, and to the people he knows.

Keep up the fight my friend.

Jake's a fighter.

I used to call him and talk to him much more frequently than I do now. I have been calling him less, partially because of the great translation project, and partially because I know that every conversation I have with him is one less set of cups polished and packed for shipping that day.

We have a system, though. There is a big fence post near his shop. If he needs for me to call him, he makes a big mark on that post with a piece of chalk. If I need for him to call me, I rub the mark out.
