That's a pretty good routine!
I liked in the beginning, the way he scooped up the cups with his wand.

Thanks!

Tom Fenton, (3 Tom's in one topic???)

Clicking the big play button didn't worked for me either. Below the clip there is some text, clicking it will re-direct you to the YouTube page.

Nice routine Tom. I liked it.

Tom Foolery,
Tom Arnold,
Tom Fenton,
Tom Gorman, ..... We're all here! Anyhow, the routine is good, but I thought his hand kept getting stuck in his pouch. Maybe he needs a Jimmy Talksalot pouch. E-Z to get in and out of.

Tom A…. Good job, I can appreciate what you do, however I am not into routines that use a pouch. I feel that the pouch is good for a street performer or a period costume… not a suit. They are not my thing.

Again good job!

Thanks,
Bruce

I agree with you Bruce. The pouch is out of place with the suit.

Many thanks for the kind comments.
The reason I use a pouch is I have large hands and they get stuck in my pants and jacket pockets.
When I have a little time I am going to have my pants altered so I can do away with the pouch for some of my work.
The majority of my work is performing at a farm park with a little bit of a street magic theme.
So when performing for the competition I decieded to use what I was use to and practiced with rather than drop the pouch and work from my pockets.

Watching the video has been good for me after the first viewing I saw things that I was not happy with and will either need changing or improving.

Tom, Nice job! if your use to a pouch, what's wrong with trying your routine seated? Just a thought. steve s

Oops! I didn't realize Tom Arnold and Tom Foolery are the same!

A pouch sure is convenient. Much easier than pockets. Nothing worse than getting your hand stuck in your pants. You give a mighty pull, and your pocket turns inside out!  Embarrassed Lots of fun. I agree it's best to use what you're used to. Experiment some other time.

Michael Ammar gives some info on the dvd's about his backpockets making them as one so that you have a bigger load area and easy accesable for bigger hands. Just a thought.

I guess with some good misdirection, you could reach all the way around to the back. I'm sure it helps to be wearing a jacket. Michael A is pretty good at making the folks laugh, so I'm sure he could pull it off.

I have used my back pockets but never got on with it. I have large hands and a large arse.. It is very rare for me to wear a jacket I perform mainly in a waistcoat.

I always thought the back pockets were just too far away to pull it off with out getting caught. I don't think I could do it, but, I've never tried.
