Wish I could help, I have never handled them...  I have seen their tray with cups on... I didn't like that one bit...

You can still buy a set from Stevens Magic Emporium. I believe the new price is $330.00 for a set of three. The cups are made of stainless steel and are somewhat smaller than Paul Fox cups. They also feel lighter and cheaper than the PF cups. I was underwhelmed by them after opening the box, but your mileage may vary.

Leonard… Welcome to CupsCon! Were you under whelmed due to the Cups being light or was the craftsmanship iffy?

Take care,
Bruce

The craftsmanship was fine Bruce. The Japanese usually do an excellent job, and the cups are nice. They are a bit smaller than PF cups and somewhat lighter. The mouth beads are also really thin. I prefer cups that are larger and a bit heavier. If PF cups feel small in your hands, the Mikame cups will feel even tinier.

Buying through the mail on photographic references alone can be tricky. You can easily delude yourself in to believing the prop you're purchasing will meet your expectations. That's still better than the pen and ink sketches from the old Tannen's catalogue.

Leonard… Thanks for filling me in on the Cups, I hope to see and handle them someday. I know what you mean about liking heavy Cups, I am heavy handed myself.

I got a kick out of your Tannen’s reference… I can laugh now, but when I was kid I got pissed off more than once on purchases based on their descriptions and illustrations. Just the same, I love those old catalogs. I still enjoy looking at them.

Take care,
Bruce
