Hi guys,

After weeks of sitting on the couch (watching clips of magicians and promo-clips) tired from work, I kept looking at the clip of Yigal Mesika being "tarantula". The last time I worked with IT is about 4 years ago. Back then I used the Fearsson hookup and the LeClair hookup. I kept a little in touch with the IT, but not enough. This clip really got me thinking about the hookup and gimmick.

Every night I searched the internet looking for the pros and cons of this gimmick, the end result was not decided. Alot of talk between "Tarantula" and "MLS" by Steve Fearsson. The effect stands 50/50. So I decided to take the leap and I ordered it. Does anybody uses this effect? Maybe anybody has any comments on it?

I am really looking forward in using IT, probably will have a lot of frustration at first.

Here is how it should look.

I really like mine. It is a great tool. (Please note I said tool.)

It is not a trick, and should not be thought of as a trick. You can do a lot with it, but it is you that has to sell it. Like a lot of thread stuff you need a reason why things float or move. If you just say watch this float. Everyone knows it is attached to something. Now, if you talk about teaching a card a cool trick. (like a dog) it may sell bettter.

The DVD shows some cool stuff you can do with it, but I found the best stuff is the things I think up.

I have been playing around with it with my cups.  Wink I have not got it just right yet, but it can mess with people. (don't ask, you need to find it by yourself) You will feel better about it then. (hell, what do I know.)

just like any tool. You need to learn how to use it, before you can really use it. Take your time with it. Keep it on you and try things here and there. I am not saying go out and try and put on a show. I am saying it comfortable with it. Then start trying to think up your own stuff. (this is all just my two cents.)

Till next time,
Sean
