Stefano,
When you're ready with some pictures, it's easy to post them here. Click on "Additional Options" when you write your post and you'll see a place to "attach" the pictures.

sorry i'm very busy in thsi periso and very bad to use photo and forums
anyway let me introduce this three set of cups
the first on the left was made by Attilio comi from Milan in 1979 just for me, he did the cups on demand
I was 13 years old and was a present for christmas
Attilio is still good (he is 81 years old) next years he give me as present the set on centre photo, same size same material plus garnishment
the right set was made by Mr Vittor Balli from Turin, 20 yeasrt ago, more or less...
Ciao ciao

That answered the question I sent you (I think!). I have two sets of cups that were made by Comi. They are the traditional style. However, I also have two smaller sets that are embossed like the ones from Vittor Balli.
I had another set, about the size of the ones in the photo, that I think were also made by him. I purchased that set from an Italian dealer at the Let's Go Magic convention in Berlin in 1992.

Here are the cups I was having trouble identifying. Are these by Vittor Balli?

yes they are the same, you have just polished them, this set is good to do some acrobatic moves in order to stolen the ball with gravity, maybe i will do a little video about it some day
can you send me the photo of Comi's set?
he will be very happy to know that you have it
I have another set made by him in brass (Fox style, if i am correct)
Ciao!!!!

Hello Stefano:
Actually, the Balli cups came with exactly that degree of polish -- I haven't done anything to them. They must be fairly new or the person who owned them before I got them kept them away from the air, so they did not oxidize.
The cups on the left in your photo look more like the Harry Stanley (Unique Magic Studio) cups, which Harry Stanley issued as "The Vernon Cups."
The Comi cups in my collection are shown in the attached photos. The brass set came from Dr. Richard Evans, the copper set from Shaun Yee Magic and Illusions.
When you have a chance, please visit the museum. There are many things there for you to enjoy. I sent you the username and password in a private message.
