I have been on a journey of sorts. I have been reading a lot about Magic History. There is a saying that you must know where you have been to know where you are going.

I am finding out that this is very true with magic. I have enjoyed reading the lives of greats of the magic past. It has given me a lot to think about. Plus ideas about things to add to my bag of tricks.

I would tell anyone that can find a copy of the book "Woes of a Wizard" by David Devant to read it. It is a great read and very funny.  Cheesy

I just got done with "The Magician and the Cardsharp" it a great little story about Vernon and Allen Kennedy. It tells a lot of background of the two men lives.  Wink

Does anyone know of books about the greats of the past in the Cup world?

Till next time,
Sean

Sean… I too enjoyed The Magician and the Cardsharp, as to other books any of the Melbourne Christopher history of magic books are great as well as 100 Years of Magic Posters. Another fun read is Carter beats the Devil.

Thanks,
Bruce
