I have just received the Stephane Bourgoin Tennis Ball Chop Cup and for those who like a logical reason for things (I know you're all out there!) this is a very commercial idea.

The cup itself is fashioned from a genuine tennis ball container and the final loads are very congruent, being regulation tennis balls.

The mini balls themselves are very, very nice looking however they do tend to talk somewhat due to the hard material used forthe white lines.  You also get 2 of one colour and a differing colour to play with too.

If you want to check some pics out I put a few up here;

This is also a very modestly priced item for what you receive.

You can chop most anything or use an external magnet: tins cans, pill bottles, etc,
or achieve a Chop type of effect with no gaff at all.

My ShareBook "ChopSign" can be had at No Charge to serious performers here,
and "FoldCup" uses a paper cup folded from a magazine page impromtu.

The tennis ball approach does look more 'logical' in mnay setting than a brass cup,
but don't limit yourself to what is sold 'commercially'.

This is a review of a commercial product, it's not pretending to be anything else.  I use ungaffed items myself and work impromptu routines as do most cup workers however this is a commercial product.

Although I like the cups and balls and the chop cup, I am not into the themed presentation. For some reason they scream "GIMMICK" to me. I just like the normal sets. Maybe for the lay audience it looks great, but not for me (I know, I am strange).
