I don’t remember the Mad game, but I do remember the “Dark Shadows” board game. For you young guys it is based on a popular soap opera from the 1960’s, in which the main character “Barnabas Collins” was a vampire. The game came with a set of glow in the dark fangs… thinking back, us kids would swap putting them in our mouths without a care of washing them and they were probably made of some toxic material so that they would glow…. Yuck.

Wow... Dark Shadows. I haven't seen that show in ages. Reruns came on maybe ten years ago on the sci-fi channel.

I wish that they would rerun the old TV shows… The Time Tunnel and Invaders. In my mind’s eye, I remember liking them.

Watch them online, you can stream just about any tv show that had any kind of following these days. Check Hulu.

Man... haven't thought about Dark Shadows, Mad Magazine, or National Lampoon in ages...

Don't recall the Mad Mag board game either.

Concerning the Foxy 3 Cups they sound terrific. I really love heavy cups. Any more word on when these will be available?

Don,

how is the set coming? I just visited RNT2 website to look for bags and I saw the following list:

Quote
Our Deluxe Velvet Bags (Extra Large) are included with:

•Mendoza Combo Cups
•Phoenix II Cups
•Tradional Cups
•Gazzo Street Cups
•Paul Fox Chick Cups
•Super Street Cups

The last one I find interresting, I couldn't find this on the site. Are these also new? Or are those the same as the late Shibby street cups?

Hi Etienne,
The Super Street Cups are in stock but haven't been photographed yet to be added to the website. They used to be called the Shibby Super Street Cups. I just dropped the "Shibby" name where I could.
The Foxy 3 cups and the Foxy 3 Combo cups designs are finalized, but I've not put them into production yet. I just polished the prototypes and am about to start using them to see if it's all good. I'm concerned about the strength of the gaff in the Foxy 3s and want to make certain the balls can be adjusted for a wide variety of attraction strengths. They will be coming out soon though.
I had problems with the magnetic strength of the Paul Fox Mini Combo Cups. The pull was WAY TOO strong, so just today I decided to re-spin the gaffed cups with weaker mags in them. I first had a batch of balls made up that had the smallest mag I could put in them, but that was no fix either. I think I might offer the PF Mini Combo cups as stand alone mini chop cups. These have very strong mags in them, but a bigger ball can be used than in a regualar 3 ball C&B routine. I'm still experimenting with these to see which balls WILL work.
The Combo Cup business is labor intensive - you just don't know if the mag strength is going to be good or not until the cup is done and then if it doesn't wok, you have to spin another and test again. A lot of waste. Plus I need a good selection of chopped balls. I've mostly been focusing on increasing the Straight Set and Chopped Set selection so everyone has a wide variety of colors and sizes to choose from when the Combo Cups launch.
It won't be much longer for each of these gaffed sets. They will be out by mid-March I would expect. I know I wanted to have them ready by Christmas, but that just wasn't going to happen.

Wow Don,

I had an idea that making cups was labor intensive, but this is alot of work. On the other hand, you get to play around with all different cups all day long.
I am waiting with anticipation for this set of cups, hope they come out soon.

Andre, we knew there were storms and flooding in your country, so we didn't know what happened to you.
