Here is one of my old routines that is an example of what I am seeking for workshop material:

Opie's Casino Night Chop Cup Routine  - 

Demonstration of how to win in a casino.  (Those in the know should have no problem filling in the gaps of the instructions below).

Hi ya, hi ya...welcome to Casino Night.  Step up folks and let me show you how to win.  Here is all you have to remember. 

You first have to know that you cannot let your money drop down this black hole. (Take a coaster covered with black felt from a whisky bag and set it on the table.)

Also, you have to keep your eye on your money which is represented by this little ball.  Watch as I hold it over the black hole.....It's gone...but I have another one here in the bag....watch this one....whoops, it too has gone down the black hole......(Simply take a ball from the bag, pass it, and make it vanish down the coaster hole; repeated once.)

So, you gotta watch and protect your money.....But let's put a cover on the black hole...a magic cover (Pass your hand over the coaster)....Now we can set something on it without it disappearing....Here is another ball....Let's put it in this little cup and see if you can keep up with it....That's the game....(Shake cup, dump ball into hand, and place it in your pocket, at the same time setting the cup upside down onto the coaster.)

All right, where is the money?  Pocket?  Nope, under the cup.   You gotta look close...Once more, into my pocket?  Nope, under the cup.....Okay, once more...(Openly take ball and place it visibly into your pocket.) 

Now, where is the ball?  What?  How can it be under the cup?  Everyone who thinks it is under the cup, say I.  (Lift cup to show a large eyeball)...Well, it LOOKS like the EYES have it.

So, does everybody know what you have to do to win?  Just keep an eye on your money and don't let it go down the black hole....

And there is one other thing you can do....You can rub the head of our lucky leprechaun for luck....(Lift cup and reveal a Fitzgerald's leprechaun or some similar object and pass it around so everyone can rub the lucky charm.....)

An alternate final load could be a roll of bills, loaded when the eyeball is revealed.....
