A couple of weeks ago I had a dream. In this dream a friend of mine offered me a Eric Hansen cup for a price I could not refuse getting it. When I woke up the cup stood on the livingroom table in all it's pride and glory. When I first heard of Eric Hansen and the cups he made I hoped that some day I could get one, now I have two. The Birch Burl cups on his website were awesome and they were on my shortlist, not any more.

I recieved the cup with out balls or bag, I didn't mind. I have a bag leftover for it and somewhere in one of my toolcases I have a set of balls for it or else I will use the set I got with the segmented cup I traded with Eric.

From all of the woodstyles available I like the Birch best. The grain/texture/color(?) of the cups is awesome, almost looks like 3D or some kind of marble effect I really like. Some dark spots are filled with some sort of glitter. I really like this cup and I thank my friend who let go of it.

Etienne,

That's some friend! Wink  What a lovely cup, I bet you will love using it.  I like the illusion that particular shape makes with a tennis ball... it just doesn't look like it would fit!

Etienne… Yes it is a nice Cup, Eric’s work is beautiful, what set of balls are you using with it? I have had great look with the monkey fist balls from The Ambitious card. They set that I have is red and they really pop against the wood tones, I plan on getting a set of green balls to.

Bruce,

at the moment (when I am not staring) I use the balls that were provided with the segmented cup. I have a set red/gold balls from RnT2 which I could use. For the moment I don't have a set in any other color except blue, but they are meant to be used with the Riser/Loomis set. So they are a fraction to small.

Bruce,

The ambitious card green balls are a great choice of colour to go with that cup!  The phoenix sunfire look good too...

I have noticed that when I keep staring the cup seems to move and I keep getting some sort of white spots in my vision. Am I staring to much? Grin
