Hello everyone, I know a lot of you may have been asking where in the world Sean has been.

I have been working on a project with the Downtown Library in Providence, RI. It is a project to find and put together info on John H. Percival. He was the owner of the Magic Library Collection, that is now in the Library's Special Collections Department.

He was on the cover of the MUM in Jan 1969, and the Magician of the month, for January. He knew and walked with some of the greats of magic. (like Eddie McGuire) I even found out that he was a stooge for Houdini a few times.

I never seem to not be amazed each day I go to the library.

Till next time,

Sean

Have you ever visited the H. Adrian Smith collection at Brown?

Not at this time. I know about and have looked over the list of books there, but I have 1500+ to work with first. Before I want to read though 5000+.

The Percival collection is a working collection. Where the Smith collection has a lot of very rare books.

Percival and Smith were very good friends, and Smith is the one that worked the collection and managed the collection in the steps of it being brought to the Library.

Till next time,

Sean
