I just got my Guild Street Devils in today's mail. It was well worth the wait! I'm glad your shoulder didn't put you down for good, you're just way to good at this stuff to quit now.

I like the new shape. A little rounder than my earlier Super Animals (in my avatar) Loves and Babes. They can take a baseball size load which is bigger than I'm used to, but that's what I wanted for this set.

There are some spin lines that didn't exist in earlier GA cups I owned, but to me that just adds "character" to the cups. Otherwise they're very nicely balanced, very consistent between the three cups, visually appealing, and I think I'll like these a lot.

Dave… I am glad that you are happy with them; a question for you… what kind of patina does guild metal form or does it look better shiny like brass.

I really like the shape of those cups.

Thanks,
Bruce

These look much better shiny. I have GA's Golf cups (you get a peek at the tops of them in the graphic at the top of the page) and they darken just a little bit, but they don't look as ugly as brass gets.

A quick buff with a jeweler's rouge cloth and they're back to their brilliant shine again.

I definitely plan on keeping the Guilds shiny as possible. The inside is unpolished, so although they're clean they won't reflect ball color inside the cup if you're worried about that sort of thing.
