I was just wondering if there are any of your cups that you would not take out busking with you. I only have two sets myself, Penguins (I know I know but they were my firsts) and my Mendozas which I am in love with. I love the way they look and the way they feel. I especially love the way they swallow up a tennis ball... wow I should stop before i get too excited haha only kidding. But anyway I was wondering if you all have cups you would not take out busking because I don't know if i could bring myself to take my Mendozas out for fear of damage. Also, other than on the streets, where do you perform the cups and balls and for what typs of audiences?

Clay,

I wouldn't take any cups with me (maybe just my animal cups). I consider myself more of a collector than a worker so they are all precious to me and I don't wish them any harm. Don't be ashamed of your penguins, I have two sets myself. They are workable cups for a good price.

I don't perform, I practice. When I practice it's useally just for my wife and kids. And it's just at home.

I would not take my gold plated, solid sterling silver, engraved Sherwood cups out on the street or a couple of sets of old collectibles that can't be replaced. Other than that - it's open season.

Clay,

I wouldn't take any lightweight cups. Light, aluminum cups are too easy to knock over with your sleeve. Wow, is that embarrassing!!

Here's my light weight Morrissey cups...

None, I probably wouldn't have them if I was too scared to use them.  Grin
