A big batch of Antique Bronze has just arrived.
I recall when someone on this thread called this finish "painted". LOL!
This finish is so complicated that it took 7 weeks to apply to the cups. There were a lot of cups to do - 117 to be exact, but still it's a lot of man hours and handling. First there is the degreasing and polishing. The cups start with a mirror shine. Then there is a flash copper electro-plating to ensure a good surface. Then there is the Bronze plating.
After the two plating processes there is the hand highlighting. This means that an artisan must take each cup to the wheel and buff off some of the plating to give it the shiny highlights. It takes finesse and an eye for detail. Only then is a clear coat applied to lock in and protect the finish. A solid dust-free clear coating gives the cups that incredible glossy shine.

Cup Sets now available in Antique Bronze:
Shibby Working Pro Cups
Phoenix II Cups
Monti Cups
Monti Combo Cups
Monti Mini Cups

Chop Cups now available in Antique Bronze:
Alter Ego Straight walled Chop cup
Alter Ego Beaded Chop cup
Don Alan Full Size Chop Cup - back in stock
Don Alan Mini Chop Cup - back in stock

And remember, if you ever hear anyone call this finish "painted", this is the type of finish that is applied to decorative doorknobs, drawer pulls and cabinet hinges all over the world - that's hardware that has to take a lot of use and abuse. There are do-it-yourself kits out there that can be used to paint your hardware, but... that  is not how RNT2 does it.

Those look great Donnie.  When I get some more money, hopefully Ill be picking something up with that finish.  I really like the "old" look to them.  It makes them look like they have a story to tell.  Keep the great stuff coming!
