Quote from: Mad Jake l
The Princess cups will be in production, but they will not have saddle that resembles Bretts, that is Bretts and will remain so.  The cup design itself has RNT II properiatarys to it.  But just to be overcautious, I will be having Brett look over the finals before releasing them publicly.  This way both parties feel comfortable with the release.  No we don't have to do this, but my concern has been a balanced scale of harmony between designers.  Brett shares this feeling too based on his reply to me.  Brett's opinion and feelings matter to RNT II and myself.

I had written an apology to Brett for the circumstances over the past weeks.  Both Sherwood Magic and RNT II have unique items for the market, this is one reason even as an engraver did RNT II does not offer engraved cups.  That Market belongs to Brett.   I know what Brett has vested in his projects, at least I know what it would cost here in the states, I'm sure he has even more since the metal and labor market is even more volatile in Europe these days.

I want to thank Brett for his gracious acceptance of my apology to him.  His reply was very sincere and heartfelt in content.

Sincerely,
Jake

Well you heard it here folks. The fight is over. Time to sound in and let you voice be heard.

What are your feeling about this turn of events?  Huh?

Dose this settle everything for you the cup junkie? Huh? or are you still not ready to end this? Huh?

Here is your time to be heard.

There will always be differences between business people and craftsmen.  Alot of  Steamer will arise in the future I'm sure, not involving RNT II and others, but other creators alike.  That's business.  I've placed bitterness and scorn where it belongs, to the wind.

I would much rather submit an idea to Brett and let him know what we are working on than to release something he feels is questionalble.

Brett's reply was sincere, I also wrote Jim Riser and Mike Brazill.  I haven't heard back from Jim, but at the same time I didn't expect to, but I have made my piece, the same with Mike Brazill.

Mike was the founder of the original RNT and RNT II, but business is business and things happen.  One thing I never did was close the door on Mike, I want everyone to know that.  I have always left the door open for him to come back, this is not a spur of the moment thing either, important figures that were behind the scenes always new I made this offer and to this day if Mike were to say "I'd like to be part of the team again."   The company would welcome him, it's always been that way.  All fighting and mud sllinging aside, Mike has always and will always have a place here.

Despite differences between Jim and RNT II or me personally, I have always praised Jim's work.  There are not many of us out there that do what we do and do so with pride to offer whatever we can to the community.  Jim is talented, he makes beautiful products and of course is an asset to the community.  What ALL of us need to do and I've wanted this since I've been here is to get along and work together.  Not so much share ideas, but help and support one another.

God has blessed us all with our talents, there is no one else to really credit, God gave us skills and talents and we should always promote those talents of others in the most positive aspect possible.  The world looks down on inbalance of harmony, but they will look up to craftsmen in the same trade that stand together and work in a professional manner without demeaning each other.  It only hurts everyone when conflict arises.

I truely hope someday that Mike Brazill comes back, this is where he belongs.  We could all be working together and making differences in magic again together, instead of fighting each other.  This may be a high hope a pie in the sky that is out of reach, but the word HOPE is very strong emotion and sometimes dreams do come true.

Is the community ready for this to end? Hope so as I will not play part to any fighting anymore, while I will defend  and only if there is a warrent to the company the best I can if we are attatcked but I will NOT get into name calling, exposing information that is privy to me or RnT II it will stay private.

So this is over, as I'm hoping the public is not Thriving on rivalry or drama.

Now if Mike would rejoin the team, we have a pedestel to put him up on.

Best,
Jake

Jake,

You're my freakin' hero. I've bought toys from both you and Brett. When you two were at odds I felt badly about communicating with either of you. Now that everyone is on an even keel I can continue searching for the perfect chopped balls.

So, Jake, how do I crank up the mag factor on your balls? Even with the adjust-Jake's-balls feature, I need more pull.

Can you hook a brother up? One blue One red chopped to the nth degree?

Kent,  Steamer how much power do you need?  I have a local scrap yard here I an borrow the magnet they use to move scrap around  Grin

Remind me which colors you need gaffed, I have a way to increase the polarity pull.

BTW, love the fun shop routine.  I remember seeing the rough cut and thought is was great.

Let me know about the color combination of the balls.  I know you mentioned the colors above, but which ones were ungaffed of the other
balls, the reason I ask is I'm into a new dye-lot of thread and the colors won't match exactly to the last batch.

Jake,

Let's do this shit offline. I'll PM ya.

I got an offer on the Mendozas you sold me. I told the guy to get 'em from you. Have you still got them in stock? I'd hate to make a profit this quickly, HA!

Just spun 10 more sets out and will have everyone caught up on these no later than the weekend.   John was running some on ebay stating that they would be difficult to get in the future, considering I have over 50 cup styles, it's not a matter of difficulty, it's juggling the spinning on all the different types to fill orders.

The response to the Mendoza cups was probally stronger than any cup we have made to date, I can't spin them quick enough, but that will level out soon I'm sure then like all the other cups they will constantly be in stock.  I don't forsee any difficulty in getting them, it's a matter of everyones patience which has been great, they're just a HOT item.
