I'm heading over to a Christmas get together and I'm thinking of trying out the Jumbo Chick cups since I only have orange loads with me and I might not find any lemon loads tonight.
I've never done the jumbo C&B for an audience yet so this'll be interesting.
Hope you're all doing well!

Oddly, I didn't end up doing any magic after all.
Just one of those things. You really don't want to force it on anyone even if you're ready, willing, and able.
We were having a swell time without me feeling like I had to unleash my magic on the group. Just going with the flow.
Nobody wants to be the guy that's pushing magic on anyone that's not into it at the moment.
I obviously looooove this effect, but it's also one that requires a little more planning since it's not like putting a deck of cards in your pocket when you wander out into the night.
Anyhoo, I look forward to the next time I have a new audience for whom the affect is a welcome surprise!

Congrats on not being 'that guy.'

Sadly there are many in the fold who lack the social awareness to understand when magic is appropriate and therefore more apt to be appreciated.

Happy New Year!

Here here!  One thing that always makes me cringe is seeing a person in a bar being pinned into a corner by a guy with a 2" thick, yellow deck of bikes in his hand, licking his thumb before every move or sleight.  Why doesn't he see the tormented look of despair on their faces? I know the guy on the end of the 15th card assembly is thinking "If I were just being mugged it would have been over half an hour ago."

While I am at it, why is it only magicians who think that it's okay to perform at someone else's gig?  I've never seen anyone suddenly burst into song while sat in the audience (or at the bar in an interval) at a concert or bring a guitar to play at the interval of a Clapton gig....

Oh, by the way Happy New Year!!!!  Tongue
